PARKING BRAKE LEVER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  2. CONNECT NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Pass the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly through the parking brake lever.

    2. A01QRJO

      Bend the parking brake lever claw.

  3. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the parking brake lever (with the No. 1 parking brake cable) with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      14.5 N*m  { 148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 1 parking brake cable to the parking brake equalizer.

    3. Temporarily install the No. 1 cable adjusting nut and lock nut.

    4. Connect the parking brake switch connector.

  4. CHECK PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL

  5. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL

    Click here

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 console box mounting bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY
