NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for HDD) Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the data signal from a USB device to the navigation ECU sub-assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G149 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G145 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G149-2 (UDO-) - G145-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G149-3 (UDO+) - G145-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G149-2 (UDO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G149-3 (UDO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
