NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for HDD) Disc cannot be Ejected

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK OPERATION

   
   

   1. Press the disc eject switch of the navigation ECU sub-assembly for 5 seconds or more and check that the disc is ejected.

      Result
      Proceed to Disc is ejected Disc is not ejected

   
   

   Disc is not ejected

   REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

   Disc is ejected

2. REPLACE DISC AND RECHECK

   
   

   1. Replace the disc with a known good one.

   2. Check that the malfunction disappears.

      Result
      Proceed to Disc is ejected Disc is not ejected

   
   

   Disc is ejected

   END (DISC IS DEFECTIVE)

   Disc is not ejected
