This DTC is stored when the hard disc which is built into the navigation ECU sub-assembly has an initialization malfunction or read/write errors occur more than a specified number of times.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARD DISC


    1. A00YTYJC02
      *a Result

      Enter the "HDD Check" screen. Refer to Check Hard Disc in Operation Check.

      Click here

    2. Select "HDD Check" and check the result.

      Tech Tips

      After "HDD Check" is selected, it may take a while until the result is displayed.

    REPLACE HARD DISC Click here

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      Tech Tips

      The hard disc may be malfunctioning even if DTC B15B8 is not output.
