COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Stop And Start System)


    1. A01QQAAC02
      *a Component without harness connected (Combination Switch Assembly (Sport Mode Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (MSW1) - 4 (MSW2) Combination switch on (Push) Below 1 Ω
      Combination switch off (Release) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch.

  2. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Stop And Start System)


    1. A01QQAAC03
      *a Component without harness connected (Combination Switch Assembly (Sport Mode Switch))

      for Sport Mode Switch:

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (MSW1) - 4 (E) Sport mode switch on (Push) Below 1 Ω
      Sport mode switch off (Release) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch.

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Stop and Start System Cancel Switch))

      for Stop and Start System Cancel Switch:

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (ECU) - 4 (E) Stop and start system cancel switch on (Push) Below 1 Ω
      Stop and start system cancel switch off (Release) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch.
