DYNAMIC TORQUE CONTROL 4WD/AWD SYSTEM CALIBRATION


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a normal one from another vehicle or the acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) is replaced, perform calibration.

    2. Follow the chart to perform calibration.

      Part Replaced Necessary Operation
      4WD ECU assembly (When replaced with a normal one from another vehicle)

      When using GTS:

      Clear zero point calibration data

      When using SST check wire:

      Perform vehicle stability control system calibration

      1. Clear zero point calibration data

      Tech Tips

      When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a new one, calibration is unnecessary.

  2. PERFORM CALIBRATION (When Using GTS)


    1. Clear the zero point calibration data.


      1. Turn the ignition switch off.

      2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      4. Turn the GTS on.

      5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Utility / Reset Memory.


        Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Utility
        Tester Display
        Reset Memory
      6. Operate the GTS to clear the data.

  3. PERFORM CALIBRATION (When Using SST Check Wire)


    1. Calibrate the 4WD ECU assembly by performing vehicle stability control system calibration.
