PROCEDURE
REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH

Using a screwdriver with protective tape wound around the tip, pry out the front drive shaft oil seal RH.
Note
Do not damage the continuously variable transaxle assembly.
REMOVE CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL
Using SST, remove the CVT type T oil seal from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.
Note
Do not damage the continuously variable transaxle assembly.
INSTALL CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new CVT type T oil seal.
| *a | 21.5 to 22.5 mm (0.847 to 0.885 in.) |
Using SST and a hammer, install the CVT type T oil seal to the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

Note
Make sure to install the front drive shaft oil seal RH as specified, otherwise malfunctions such as a fluid leak will occur.
INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new front drive shaft oil seal RH.
| *a | 5.5 to 6.5 mm (0.217 to 0.255 in.) |
Using SST and a hammer, install the front drive shaft oil seal RH to the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

Note
Be sure to install the front drive shaft oil seal RH in the correct direction.
Make sure to install the front drive shaft oil seal RH as specified, otherwise malfunctions such as a fluid leak will occur.
Do not damage the lip of the front drive shaft oil seal RH.
