FRONT DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL(for RH Side) REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL (OUTER)

    A01QPHPC01
    *a Protective Tape

    1. Using a screwdriver with protective tape wound around the tip, pry out the CVT type T oil seal.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the housing.

  4. REMOVE CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL (INNER)

    A01QSEZE01

    1. Using SST, tap out the CVT type T oil seal oil seal.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the housing.

  5. INSTALL CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL (INNER)


    1. A01QT47E01

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new CVT type T oil seal.

      SST
      09950-60010   ( 09951-00390 )
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07200 )
      Standard depth
      -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the CVT type T oil seal.

    2. Coat the lip of the CVT type T oil seal with MP grease.

  6. INSTALL CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL (OUTER)


    1. Coat the lip of a new CVT type T oil seal with MP grease.

    2. A01QRA3E01

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in the CVT type T oil seal.

      09316-60011   ( 09316-00011 )
      Standard depth
      4.5 to 5.5 (0.178 to 0.216 in.)

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the CVT type T oil seal.
