MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TRANSAXLE OIL


    1. Stop the vehicle on a level surface.

    2. Remove the No. 1 engine under cover.

    3. A01QSAOC01
      *1 Manual Transaxle Filler Plug

      Remove the manual transaxle filler plug and gasket.

    4. A01QUF1C01
      *a 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.)

      Check that the oil level is within 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) from the bottom of the manual transaxle filler plug opening.

      Note

      An excessively large or small amount of oil may cause problems.

    5. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.

    6. Install a new gasket and the manual transaxle filler plug.

      Torque:
      39.2 N*m  { 400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

    7. Install the No. 1 engine under cover.
