CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    A00YS3JC01
    *a 6.5 to 7.5 mm (0.256 to 0.295 in.)

    1. Check the resistance between the terminals when the switch is ON and OFF.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
      1-2 ON (pushed) Below 1 Ω
      1-2 OFF (not pushed) 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    A00YTYZC01
    *a 7.65 to 8.35 mm (0.302 to 0.328 in.)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1-2 On (pushed) Below 1 Ω
      1-2 Off (not pushed) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clutch start switch assembly.
