CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

3. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER SUPPORT

   Click here

5. REMOVE COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT LH

   

   
   

   1. Remove the 2 nuts and mounting reinforcement.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

   Click here

8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

   Click here

9. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

   Note

   Wash brake fluid off immediately if it adheres to any painted surface.

10. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE

    

    
    

    1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the tube from the clutch master cylinder.

       Tech Tips

       Use a container to catch the fluid.

11. DISCONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

    

    
    

    1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube.

       Tech Tips

       Use a container to catch the fluid.

12. DISCONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS WITH HOLE PIN

13. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder assembly.

14. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER BRACKET

    

    
    

    1. Remove the clutch master cylinder bracket from the clutch master cylinder assembly.

15. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

    
    

    1. 

       *1	Lock Nut
       *2	Clutch Master Cylinder Push Rod Clevis

       Measure dimension A as shown in the illustration before loosening the lock nut.

    2. 

       Loosen the lock nut and remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis.

    3. Remove the lock nut.
