CLUTCH PEDAL(for LHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD


    1. Install the clutch pedal pad to the clutch pedal sub-assembly

  2. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL TURNOVER BUSH

    A01VAQJC01
    A01V9RL MP Grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal turnover bush.

    2. Install the clutch pedal turnover bush.

    3. Install the 2 clutch pedal cushions to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

    A01VAECC01
    A01V9RL MP Grease

    1. Apply MP grease to both sides of a clutch pedal shaft collar and 2 new bushes.

    2. Install the clutch pedal shaft collar.

    3. Install the 2 bushes.

  4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER

    A01V8RSC01
    A01V9RL MP Grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal spring holder.

    2. Install the clutch pedal spring holder.

  5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal sub-assembly to the clutch pedal support sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Install the bolt from the right side of the vehicle.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 PEDAL SPRING HOOK

    A01V7B0C01
    A01V9RL MP Grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the No. 1 pedal spring hook.

    2. Install the No. 1 pedal spring hook.

  7. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING WITH HOOK


    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal spring with hook.

    2. Install the clutch pedal spring with hook to the No. 1 pedal spring hook.

      Install the clutch pedal spring with hook to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

    A01V7QKC01
    A01V9RL MP Grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal spring.

    2. Install the clutch pedal spring.

  9. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

    2. Install the bolt and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      for nut A
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the 2 connectors and clamp.

  12. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS WITH HOLE PIN

    1. Apply Mp grease to the contact surface of the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

    2. Connect the clevis to the clutch pedal assembly with the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

      Tech Tips

      install the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin from the right side of the vehicle.

    3. Install a new clip to the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

  13. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  14. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  15. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  17. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY
