DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL LH


    1. A01V75DN02

      Using SST, tap out the transaxle case oil seal LH.

  3. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL RH


    1. A01VAAPN02

      Using SST, tap out the transaxle case oil seal RH.

      09308-00010

  4. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL RH


    1. A01V9AEN02

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new transaxle case oil seal RH.

      09316-60011   ( 09316-00011 )
      Oil seal driven in depth
      -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

      Note

      Check that the transaxle case oil seal RH is installed in the correct direction.

    2. Coat the lip of the transaxle case oil seal RH with MP grease.

  5. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL LH


    1. A01V8RUN02

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new transaxle case oil seal LH.

      09316-10010
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07150 )
      Oil seal driven in depth
      -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

      Note

      Check that the transaxle case oil seal LH is installed in the correct direction.

    2. Coat the lip of the transaxle case oil seal LH with MP grease.
