MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    Note

    If the front bumper assembly or radiator grill has been replaced, check that the beam axis change mechanism is at the standard position (centered).


    1. Set beam axis to the standard position.


      1. A01QPRYE01

        Turn the bolt so that the beam axis change mechanism is positioned as shown in the illustration.

        Specified Condition
        Difference between (A) and (B): 1 mm (0.0394 in.) or less

    2. Attach the 2 guides to install the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly.

    3. A01QQAGC02
      A01QRKS Screw
      A01QOU0 Bolt

      Install the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts and screws in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      2.5 N*m  { 25 kgf*cm, 22 in.*lbf }

  3. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. If the millimeter wave radar sensor has been replaced, the front of the vehicle has been repaired or modified, or the position of the beam axis change mechanism has been changed, perform adjustment.
