    1. The road sign assist system uses the forward recognition camera to recognize traffic signs and provides information to the driver via the multi-information display.

      As soon as the vehicle passes a traffic sign recognized by the forward recognition camera, the sign is displayed on the multi-information display.

      If another traffic sign is not recognized after a certain distance, the sign displayed on the multi-information display turns off.

      If the ignition switch is turned off while a traffic sign is displayed on the multi-information display, the same sign is displayed on the multi-information display when the ignition switch is next turned to ON.

      When the vehicle changes onto another road after turning right or left, the sign displayed on the multi-information display for the road that the vehicle was being driven on turns off.

      *1: Using the customization function, the buzzer can be sounded when a notification is provided. However, if the maximum speed indicated by the speed limit sign with supplemental information is exceeded, the buzzer will not sound.

      *2: This sign is not displayed if the turn signal light is not operated.

      *3: A blank sign is displayed if the system fails to recognize the supplemental information.

    2. The display format for signs displayed on the multi-information display can be changed using the steering pad switch assembly.
