DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication between the airbag sensor assembly and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module While the ignition switch ON, a communication between the skid control ECU and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0142 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" While the ignition switch ON, a communication between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and lane departure warning camera stops for 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0155 Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module (Combination Meter) While the ignition switch ON, a communication between the combination meter assembly and lane departure warning camera stops for 50 seconds or more. CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    4. Clear the DTCs.


      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes
      Result
      Proceed to
      No DTCs are output
      DTC U0101, U0123, U0129 or U0142 is output
