OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE


    1. Coat the oil pump relief valve with engine oil.

    2. Install the oil pump relief valve and oil pump relief valve spring to the oil pump cover.

    3. Install the oil pump relief valve plug.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP COVER


    1. A00YTCNC01
      *1 Mark

      Install the drive rotor and driven rotors to the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the marks of the rotor facing the cylinder block sub-assembly side. Check that the rotors revolve smoothly.

    2. Install the oil pump cover with the 10 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.8 N*m  { 90 kgf*cm, 78 in.*lbf }
