COOLING FAN MOTOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/o Towing Package)

   
   

   1. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

   2. Attach the 3 harness clamps to the fan shroud.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/ Towing Package)

   
   

   1. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/o Towing Package)

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/ Towing Package)

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

5. INSTALL COOLING FAN ECU (w/ Towing Package)

   
   

   1. Install the 2 cooling fan ECU with the 4 screws.

      Torque:

      2.6 N*m  { 27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf }

   2. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

   3. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the cooling fan motor connector.

6. INSTALL FAN AND NO. 2 FAN (w/o Towing Package)

   Note

   Do not switch the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Parts may be damaged if the cooling fans are installed in the wrong locations.

   
   

   1. Install the fan and No. 2 fan with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 55 in.*lbf }

7. INSTALL FAN AND NO. 2 FAN (w/ Towing Package)

   Note

   Do not switch the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Parts may be damaged if the cooling fans are installed in the wrong locations.

   
   

   1. Install the fan and No. 2 fan with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 55 in.*lbf }
