EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:


  • Wear protective gloves and protective glasses when removing the exhaust pipe assembly.

  • The exhaust pipe assembly is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.

  • Confirm that the exhaust pipe assembly has cooled down before removing it.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Disconnect the tailpipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  5. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
