PCV VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL PCV VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      Adhesive
      Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent

   2. Using a 22 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      Torque:

      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where ball joint lock nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench.

   3. Connect the PCV hose to the PCV valve sub-assembly, and slide the clamp to secure it.
