PCV VALVE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT PCV VALVE


    1. Install a clean hose to the PCV valve.

    2. Check the PCV valve operation.

        *1 Clean Hose
        A00YXOY Cylinder Block Side
        A00YSPP Air

        Blow air into the cylinder block side and check that air passes through easily.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the PCV valve.

        CAUTION:

        Do not suck air through the valve.

        Petroleum substances inside the valve are hazardous to your health.

      2. A00YS5OC01
        *1 Clean Hose
        A00YXOY Intake Manifold Side
        A00YSPP Air

        Blow air into the intake manifold side and check that air passes through with difficulty.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the PCV valve.

    3. Remove the clean hose from the PCV valve.
