PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 1 Vacuum Switching Valve Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 28.3 to 31.1 Ω

      *a Air

      Check No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly operation.


      1. Check that air does not flow from port A to port B.

    3. A00YVAZC02
      *a Air

      Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 2 as shown in the illustration.

    4. Check that air flows from port A to port B.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.
