FUEL PUMP(w/ Canister Pump Module) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

   Tech Tips

   Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the fuel pump.

   1. 

      *1	Fuel Pump Spacer
      *2	New O-Ring

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

   2. Connect the fuel pump connector.

   3. Attach the 5 claws to the holes to install the fuel pump.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

   
   

   1. Attach the 2 claws to the holes to install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the jet pump.

   2. 

      Install the jet pump while aligning it with the installation position on the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   3. Install the jet pump nozzle.

   4. Attach the 2 claws to the holes to install the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   5. Connect the wire harness connector.

   6. Install the 2 springs to the fuel suction plate, and then install them to No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   7. Install a new E-ring.

      Tech Tips

      Slightly lower the fuel suction plate to install the E-ring.
