PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FAN SHROUD WITH COOLING FAN


    1. Install the fan shroud with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 2 guides to install the condenser assembly.

      Click here

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN SHROUD


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 fan shroud.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL RADIATOR LOWER SUPPORT


    1. Install the 2 radiator lower supports to the fan shroud.

  5. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS PIPE


    1. Install the water by-pass pipe to the radiator, and slide the hose clamp to secure it.

    2. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the water by-pass pipe.

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Install the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly, and slide the clamp to secure it.

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator assembly and water by-pass pipe, and slide the 2 hose clamps to secure it.

  8. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the radiator assembly together with the fan shroud.

      Note

      Make sure that both lower radiator supports are attached to the fan shroud.

  9. CONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly, and slide the hose clamp to secure it.

  10. CONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose to the water by-pass pipe, and slide the hose clamp to secure it.

  11. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the water inlet housing, and slide the hose clamp to secure it.

  12. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the radiator hose sub-assembly to the No. 1 radiator hose, and slide the hose clamp to secure it.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  13. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. Install the upper radiator support with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. Install the 2 No. 1 radiator supports with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  15. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS


    1. Connect the 2 cooling fan motor connectors.

    2. Attach the 9 wire harness clamps to connect the wire harness.

  16. CONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  17. CONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  18. INSTALL RADIATOR UPPER AIR GUIDE PLATE


    1. Install the radiator upper air guide plate with the 7 clips.

  19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front bumper upper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

    2. Connect the horn connector.

  20. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the clamp to connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

  21. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


  22. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)

  23. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

  24. INSTALL BATTERY

  25. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  26. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  27. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  28. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  29. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

  30. CHARGE REFRIGERANT

  31. WARM UP ENGINE

  32. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK

  33. INSTALL RADIATOR LOWER AIR GUIDE PLATE


    1. Attach the 2 claws and install the radiator lower air guide plate.

  34. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER


    1. Install the front lower bumper absorber with the 4 screws.

  35. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
