CYLINDER BLOCK REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE CYLINDER BLOCK STRAIGHT PIN

    Tech Tips

    It is not necessary to remove the cylinder block straight pin unless it is being replaced


    1. Remove the cylinder block straight pin.

    2. Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap in a new cylinder block straight pin to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      Pin B 7.0 mm (0.726 in.)
      Pin C 18 mm (0.709 in.)
      Pin D 7.5 mm (0.725 in.)
      Pin E 7.5 mm (0.725 in.)

  2. REPLACE CYLINDER BLOCK RING PIN

    It is not necessary to remove the cylinder block straight pin unless it is being replaced

      Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap in new cylinder block ring pins to the crankshaft bearing cap.

      6.5 mm (0.256 in.)
