AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR(for Sensor 2) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Perform "O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset" after replacing the air fuel ratio sensor.

      *a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

      Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor.

      SST
      09224-00011
      Torque:
      Specified tightening torque
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Avoid physical shock to the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

      Tech Tips


      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

      • When using SST (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 255 mm (10.04 in.)): 44.7 N*m (456 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf)

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

      *a Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Connector
      *b Bracket
      *c 1.5 mm (0.0591 in.) or less

      Attach the air fuel ratio sensor connector to the bracket as shown in the illustration and connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

  2. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform "O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset" after replacing the air fuel ratio sensor.
