IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. A00YRKGC02
      *1 Cylinder Head Cover
      *2 Spark Plug Tube
      *3 Plug Cap

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies.

      Note

      When removing the ignition coil assembly, do not damage the plug cap with the cylinder head cover opening or the upper edge of the spark plug tube.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

      Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench and 100 mm extension bar, remove the 4 spark plugs.
