| P060A | Internal Control Module Monitoring Processor Performance |
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
The main CPU and sub CPU of the ECM perform data communication between each other. The main CPU monitors the communications and WDC pulses from the sub CPU. When the signal malfunctions below are detected, the DTC is stored.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | MIL | Memory |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| P060A | Internal Control Module Monitoring Processor Performance | A CPU reset is performed after one of the following conditions is met (1 trip detection logic):

| Frequency of Operation | Continuous |
CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 16 seconds or more.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Tech Tips
Read freeze frame data using the GTS. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
