INITIALIZATION
Note
If the ECM is replaced, register the ECU communication ID for Immobiliser System (w/o entry and start system).
Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle with motor body assembly or cleaning any throttle with motor body components.
Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM.
Make sure to perform Reset Memory (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assembly, engine assembly or ECM.
WHEN USING GTS
CAUTION:
Observe the following items for safety reasons:
Before using the GTS, read the instruction manual.
Prevent the GTS cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever or steering wheel when driving with the GTS connected to the vehicle.
When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the GTS, 2 persons are required. One drives the vehicle, and the other operates the GTS.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
After the ignition switch is turned off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
