  2. REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER


    1. Replace the engine oil and oil filter.

  3. INSPECT COOLING AND HEATER SYSTEM

    Check that the radiator and condenser are not blocked with leaves, dirt or insects, and clean them if necessary. Also check the hose connection for the installation condition, corrosion, etc.

  4. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT

  5. REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT

  6. INSPECT OIL COOLER (for 2AR, w/Oil Cooler)


    1. Visually check the oil cooler for leaks.

  7. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPES AND MOUNTINGS


    1. Visually check the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.

  8. REPLACE SPARK PLUGS


    1. Replace the spark plugs.

  9. INSPECT BATTERY


    1. Inspect the battery.

  11. ADD VALVEMATIC SYSTEM (for 3ZR-FAE)


    1. for French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Estonia, Latvia, Romania, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Singapore, Tahiti and Hong Kong:

      Add fuel injector cleaner to the fuel tank.

  12. INSPECT WATER SEDIMENT ACCUMULATOR (for Diesel)


    1. Inspect the water sediment accumulator.

  13. INSPECT AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT


    1. Remove the air filter.

      Check that the air cleaner is not excessively dirty.

      If the air cleaner is excessively dirty, replace the air cleaner filter element.

    3. If cleaning the air cleaner filter element, blow compressed air as shown in the illustration to clean it.

    4. Reinstall the air filter.

    5. When an excessive amount of dirt is present, replace the air filter.

  14. INSPECT FUEL TANK CAP GASKET


    1. Check the fuel tank cap gasket.

  15. INSPECT FUEL LINES, CONNECTIONS, FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BANDS


    1. Visually check the fuel lines and hoses for cracks, leaks, loose connections, or deformation.

    2. Check for tank band looseness or deformation.

  16. INSPECT CHARCOAL CANISTER


    1. Inspect the charcoal canister.
