PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the clutch release cylinder assembly to the manual transaxle assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

   
   

   1. 

      Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, connect the clutch release cylinder to flexible hose tube to the clutch release cylinder assembly.

      Torque:

      Specified tightening torque

      15.2 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

      • When using a 10 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):

        13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

3. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID

4. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

5. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

6. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

   Tech Tips

   Check for leakage in the clutch system.

7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR TUBE ASSEMBLY

8. CONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE

   Click here

9. CONNECT COMPRESSOR OUTLET ELBOW

   Click here

10. INSTALL NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

    Click here

11. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE

12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

14. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

15. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER

16. INSTALL BATTERY

    Click here

17. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

18. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
