CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves and protective glasses when removing the exhaust pipe assembly.
The exhaust pipe assembly is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
Confirm that the exhaust pipe assembly has cooled down before removing it.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.
Note
Protect the rear bumper assembly using protection material such as a piece of cloth to avoid damage by the tail exhaust pipe baffle sub-assembly. (w/ Tail Pipe Baffle Sub-assembly)
Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Remove the 4 clips and front No. 3 engine under cover from the vehicle body.
REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 4 bolts and front center floor brace sub-assembly from the vehicle body.
REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly.
Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly.
REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE BAFFLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Tail Exhaust Pipe Baffle)

Using a plastic hammer, remove the tail exhaust pipe baffle sub-assembly from the tail exhaust pipe assembly.
