DESCRIPTION

When the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) detects a motor malfunction and the roof sunshade operation is stopped, DTC B2341 is stored.

When the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) detects a gear position malfunction and the roof sunshade operation is stopped, DTC B2344 is stored.

  • When the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, it requires initialization.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ROOF SUNSHADE ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY) - ROOF SUNSHADE SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY) AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the O8 roof sunshade switch (map light assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the a1 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      a1-5 (CLOSE) - O8-13 (CLS) Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-5 (CLOSE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      a1-7 (OPEN) - O8-12 (OPN) Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-7 (OPEN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O8-11 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-12 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
