    A00YQ6QN07

    1. Disconnect the a1 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      a1-8 (B) - a1-12 (E) R-W - B-W Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      a1-1 (IG) - a1-12 (E) R - B-W IG power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      a1-1 (IG) - a1-12 (E) R - B-W IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      a1-12 (E) - Body ground B-W - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the a1 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      a1-7 (OPEN) - a1-12 (E) G - B-W Roof sunshade motor open Power switch on (IG), open switch on Below 1 V
      a1-7 (OPEN) - a1-12 (E) G - B-W Roof sunshade motor open Power switch on (IG), open switch off 11 to 14 V
      a1-5 (CLOSE) - a1-12 (E) L - B-W Roof sunshade motor close Power switch on (IG), close switch on Below 1 V
      a1-5 (CLOSE) - a1-12 (E) L - B-W Roof sunshade motor close Power switch on (IG), close switch off 11 to 14 V

If the result is not as specified, the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) may be malfunctioning.
