AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM ECO Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the combination switch assembly (ECO switch) is turned on, the air conditioning amplifier assembly receives an combination switch assembly (ECO switch) ON signal and controls the air conditioning to enhance fuel efficiency.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

    5. Check the values by referring to the table below.

    1. Remove the combination switch assembly (ECO switch).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the E28 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      E28-24 (ECOS) - E114-2 (ECU) Always Below 1 Ω
      E28-24 (ECOS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
