PROCEDURE
RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a(R134a))
RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf))
DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Sub-cool Accelerator)
DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE ASSEMBLY (w/o Sub-cool Accelerator)
DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY (w/ Sub-cool Accelerator)
REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE
Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.
w/o Sub-cool Accelerator:

Temporarily install the bolt for the suction pipe sub-assembly halfway to the cooler expansion valve.
w/ Sub-cool Accelerator:
| *a | Bolt for Air Conditioner Tube and Accessory Assembly |
Temporarily install the bolt for the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly halfway to the cooler expansion valve.
Hold the bolt and pull it to remove the cooler expansion valve as shown in the illustration.

Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
