  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01G2NXN01

      Engage the guide to temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt<A> first, then the bolt<B>.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01G2K7N01

      Install the bolt <A> first, then the bolt <B> to temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly.

    2. Fully tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt <A>
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }
      Bolt <B>
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01G32XC01
      *a Locking Button
      *b Lock

      Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely lock the locking button.

    4. Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH

  6. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the front seat outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the front seat outer belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  7. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER


    1. Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for Hatchback)

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for Wagon)

    for LH Side:

  10. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER

  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for Hatchback)

  13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for Wagon)

  14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

    Click here

  15. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
