METER / GAUGE SYSTEM Hybrid System Indicator Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

A hybrid system indicator is adopted for this vehicle. In this circuit, the combination meter assembly receives the hybrid system indicator level signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly via CAN communication. The combination meter assembly controls the operation of the hybrid system indicator according to the hybrid system indicator level signal (eco-zone indicator level signal) received from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (HV SYSTEM INDICATOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Check the operation by referring to the table below.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (HV SYSTEM INDICATOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

    5. Check the values by referring to the table below.
