PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Room Light (for Push Switch Type))

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 1 Room Light Assembly)

      Inspect the room lights.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to each terminal of No. 1 room light assembly connector and check the operation of the room lights.

        Result
        Connection Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (E)

        		 Room light switches off Room light LH and RH do not come on
        Room light switch LH on Room light LH comes on
        Room light switch RH on Room light RH comes on

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (CTY)

        		 Room light switches off Room light LH and RH do not come on
        Room light switch LH on Room light LH do not come on
        Room light switch RH on Room light RH do not come on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or No. 1 room light assembly.
