DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the front door window regulator assembly (for front passenger door) and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops for 10 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      for LHD: Click here

      for RHD: Click here

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      This inspection is to check the LIN communication line in the instrument panel junction block assembly that connects the wire harness to the built-in main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Door))


    1. for LHD


      1. Disconnect the G13 front door window regulator assembly (for front passenger door) connector.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3C-22 - G13-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        G13-9 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        3C-22 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. for RHD


      1. Disconnect the H4 front door window regulator assembly (for front passenger door) connector.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3C-22 - H4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        H4-9 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        3C-22 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Door) - AUXILIARY BATTERY, BODY GROUND)


    1. for LHD


      1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage

        G13-2 (B) - G13-1 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        G13-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
