ULTRASONIC SENSOR(for Hatchback Rear Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.


    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH back or corner. The orientation for the RH back and corner is the opposite of the LH back or corner.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH back or corner. The orientation for the RH back and corner is the opposite of the LH back or corner.

    2. Remove the old double-sided tape from the rear bumper assembly.
