PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A012K1W

      Install the generator assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Make sure that the wire harness of the crankshaft position sensor does not get caught between the cylinder block and the generator when installing the generator assembly.

    2. A012MLE

      Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut and bolt.

      Torque:
      Nut
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }
      Bolt
      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
