DESCRIPTION

This DTC does not indicate a malfunction. The power steering ECU assembly stores this DTC when it determines that torque sensor zero point calibration has not been performed.

  • If the electric power steering column sub-assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform torque sensor zero point calibration.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Calibrate the torque sensor zero point (step 1).

      Chassis > EMPS > Utility
      Tester Display
      Torque Sensor Adjustment
    2. Check for DTCs (step 2).

      Click here


      Chassis > EMPS > Trouble Codes

      Tech Tips

      If DTCs are output, perform steps 1 and 2 two more times.
