C1582 Assist Map Number Mismatch

DESCRIPTION

When an incorrect hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly, an incorrect main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or an incorrect skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is installed after the assist map has been written the power steering ECU assembly, then DTC C1582 is stored because the data does not match the vehicle specifications.

Note

If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform assist map writing and torque sensor zero point calibration.

  2. CHECK RELATED PART


    1. Check if any of the parts listed below have been replaced with an incorrect part in the past.

      Note

      When removing a related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.


    2. When DTC C1582 is output when parts have not been exchanged, replace the power steering ECU assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.

      Note

      If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform assist map writing and torque sensor zero point calibration.
