REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET

   

   
   

   1. Remove the rear light gasket.

      Note

      
      

      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old gasket from the body.

      
      

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

2. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB

   
   

   1. 

      Turn the rear light socket and wire with the back-up light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

   2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect each connector.

   2. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the rear light socket and wire.

4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT LENS AND BODY
