DESCRIPTION

The headlight swivel ECU assembly receives a signal from each headlight leveling motor using LIN communication.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC B2424 and B2425 are not output.
      Result
      Proceed to

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the A93 headlight swivel ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the A148 headlight assembly LH connector or A147 headlight assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      LH Side (DTC B2424)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A93-30 (LHT) - A148-1 (LHM+) Always Below 1 Ω
      A93-30 (LHT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      RH Side (DTC B2425)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A93-11 (RHT) - A147-1 (RHM+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Always 10 kΩ or higher
