FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. A013AJS

        Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.

        Torque:
        50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

      2. Engage the 5 clamps.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. A0139MK

        Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.

        Torque:
        50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

      2. Engage the 7 clamps.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A013B5K

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A013AE3C05
      *a Bolt
      *b Screw

      Engage the 3 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper side retainer LH with the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.9 N*m  { 60 kgf*cm, 52 in.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOULDING


    1. A013B4D

      Engage the 10 claws.

    2. A0139CN

      Install the front bumper moulding with the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A013ALU

      Engage the 17 claws.

    2. A013ACA

      Install the lower No. 1 radiator grille with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      1.1 N*m  { 11 kgf*cm, 10 in.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION


    1. A013AB1

      Engage the 12 claws.

    2. A013ATN

      Install the front bumper extension with the 3 screws.

  10. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)


    1. A013AV1

      Engage the guide and 6 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  11. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. A013AR6

      Engage the 4 claws to install the fog light mounting bracket LH.

    2. A0139JG

      Engage the guide and 6 claws.

    3. Install the fog light cover LH with the screw.

  13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

  16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER


    1. A013AEJC02
      *a Hook

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

  17. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER


    1. A013A8V

      Engage the claw to install the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  18. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. A013AEW

      Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 2 clips.

  19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD


    1. Clean off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new front bumper pad.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      *a Line

      Install the new front bumper pad.

      Tech Tips


      • Stick the new front bumper pad on the line marked on the front bumper assembly.

      • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  20. INSTALL NO. 5 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A01397Q

      Engage the 9 clamps to install the No. 5 engine room wire.

  21. INSTALL ULTRASONIC SENSOR BEZEL (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 9 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.
