REAR BUMPER(for Hatchback) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    1. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      A01KSBW Adhesive Tape - -

    2. Remove the adhesive tape from the rear bumper assembly.

    3. Disengage the 5 clamps to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PAD


    1. A01KTVX

      Remove the No. 1 rear bumper pad.

  6. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01KS0G

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear bumper extension sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01KRRR

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING


    1. A01KRS8

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01KTKV

      Disengage the 10 claws to remove the rear bumper extension with rear bumper moulding.

    3. A01KRGS

      Disengage the 10 claws to remove the rear bumper moulding from the rear bumper extension.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01KU1A

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  13. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH

      Remove the screw and upper rear bumper retainer LH.

  14. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH


    1. A01KRTJ

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH


    1. A01KSKF

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal RH.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01KSQV

      Remove the 8 bolts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01KSK6

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
