HV RELAY ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.


    1. Install the hybrid battery junction block assembly to the HV battery with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    2. Using an insulated tool, install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts.

    3. A01KT2Y

      Engage the claw to connect the terminal cover as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      The terminal cover should be connected securely.

    4. Connect the hybrid battery junction block assembly connector to the hybrid battery junction block assembly.

      Note

      The connector should be connected securely.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.


    1. Install the upper hybrid battery cover sub-assembly with the 7 bolts and 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD PANEL

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

    Click here

  6. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  8. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS


    1. A01KT60C01
      *a Hybrid Battery Junction Block Assembly Connector
      *b EV Battery Plug Connector

      Connect the hybrid battery junction block assembly connector, EV battery plug connector and 3 clamps.

      Note

      The connector should be connected securely.

  9. CONNECT FRAME WIRE
