DESCRIPTION
If ISC learning has not been performed, noise may occur in the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
If noise occurs, initialize the learned values and perform idle learning.
PROCEDURE
READ VALUE USING GTS (ISC LEARNING)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / ISC Learning.

INITIALIZATION (ISC LEARNING)
Enter inspection mode (maintenance mode).
Enter the following menus: Power train / Hybrid Control / Data List / Engine Coolant Temp.

Turn the power switch on (READY) and warm up the engine coolant temp displayed in the Data List becomes 70°C (158°F) or more.
Turn the power switch off and then on (READY) again.
Check that the engine coolant temperature displayed in the Data List is 70°C (158°F) or more.
With park (P) selected, lightly depress the accelerator pedal to start the engine.
Wait until the engine stops.
Tech Tips
The engine normally stops within 1 minute. However, when the HV battery SOC is low, the engine may remain running for approximately 3 minutes.
Enter the following menus: Power train / Engine and ECT / Data List / ISC Learning.
